Southern Spaces

Very pleased to see Tom Zarrilli’s Roadside Memorials make it into Emory University’s scholarly journal, ‘Southern Spaces’ this month. The series is called ‘Documentary Expression and the American South’. My interview with Tom here on May 23 was also posted in the links section under recommended resources.

Excerpted information about the journal:

Southern Spaces is a peer-reviewed Internet journal and scholarly forum that provides open access to essays, interviews and performances, events and conferences, gateways, timescapes and annotated links about real and imagined spaces and places of the U.S. South. We intend our audience to be researchers and teachers, students in and out of classrooms, library patrons, and the general public.

Southern Spaces is supported by the Robert W. Woodruff Library of Emory University and is freely available to individuals and institutions. Members of the editorial board oversee the rigorous peer review process for the journal and help to set standards that ensure the quality of the journal.
