August 2022

I haven’t posted about any recent exhibits, one I’m in this summer is a juried show at the Bowery Gallery in NYC. The critic and author Lance Esplund curated 35 artists into the group show. Happy to promote it, the link to the work in the show is here, in alphabetical order. If you’re in the Chelsea neighborhood this thursday, drop by. Sadly, I’m unable to attend.

Additionally, very happy to be swimming regularly again since June, fingers crossed that the masks do their job out of the pool. Stay healthy, everyone!

Bowery Gallery is pleased to present its annual national juried exhibition, on view at the gallery in its new 27th Street location from August 2 through August 20, 2022. The juror for the show, which comprises two-dimensional works by 35 artists living and working across the United States, is Lance Esplund, author of “The Art of Looking: How to Read Modern and Contemporary Art” (Basic Books). Gallerygoers will encounter artists showing for the first time in New York, as well as artists in mid-career. The eclectic mix of styles—abstract and figurative—reflects the approach that has characterized the gallery in its more than fifty years in New York.
