Snow scenes
Last night it began snowing big fluffy flakes that Bootsy the cat decided were pretty fantastic. She ran down the snow covered steps, jumped and pawed at the white stuff, did a couple of pirouettes – and then raced at … Continue reading
Holiday with snow
While the northeast is getting pounded by a holiday snowstorm, we had the first snow in 100 years on Christmas day in Atlanta. Not much more than a sprinkling of powder but the ice crystals on the tree limbs shimmered … Continue reading
Home for a painting
It’s rare that I see where my work ends up, but my most recent patron was kind enough to send me a photo from her Blackberry. Her living space is perfect for the painting and I’m happy to say that … Continue reading

Snow and roses

Blue skies in February
Update from Snowmageddon. After two days, most of the driveway is shoveled. At this point, I’m hoping one of the neighbors will come over with a snowplow….but at least there’s not much left. That’s if my back will hold up. … Continue reading

The great Nor’easter
I went to bed with snow coming down and woke up to the same weather. Stumbling out the front door, the snow was up to my knees. No NY Times out front, and I can’t get out the back door … Continue reading

Snow sunsets and Christmas eve
The big storm that ravaged the northeast left a lovely two feet in the Brandywine Valley here in southeastern PA. It’s beautiful when dusk rakes across the drifts. Here’s my latest, and I’m working on another small painting of snow … Continue reading
